The present review deals with the recent progress made in field of electrochemical detection serotonin by means sensors based on various nanomaterials incorporated sensitive element. Due to unique chemical and physical properties these nanomaterials, it was possible develop excellent analytical performances, useful practice. main used are carbon electrodes modified nanotubes materials, such as benzofuran, polyalizarin red-S, poly(L-arginine), Nafion/Ni(OH)2, or graphene oxide, incorporating silver-silver selenite nanoparticles, well screen-printed zinc oxide aluminium oxide.
